On 22nd June 2025, a mix baseball event was held in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. The atmosphere was electric as participants of all ages stepped up to the plate, many holding a baseball bat for the very first time. Under the expert guidance of a national team player, attendees learned the basics of throwing, catching, and hitting in a friendly and encouraging environment.
In a special highlight, the event also incorporated fastpitch softball sessions for the girls, offering them a fun and inclusive introduction to the sport alongside baseball. The event wasn’t just about playing, it was about building confidence, fostering community spirit, and showcasing that baseball and softball are truly games for everyone.
By the end of the day, laughter, high-fives, and new friendships marked what many described as an unforgettable introduction to the sport. A total of 24 people came to try the game that made Shohei Ohtani a globally known figure.
